Meet the Team!
Get to know the team behind Utah Farm to Fork!
Utah Farm to Fork is a joint initiative between the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF). By combining our expertise in child nutrition with our strong ties to local agriculture, we work together to ensure that sustainable, locally sourced food reaches Utah's youth!

Hi! I am a registered dietitian and the farm to school specialist for Utah, working from the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) Child Nutrition Programs (CNP). I oversee our schools' local food procurement processes and other school nutrition grants, including the Fresh Fruit & Veggie Program (FFVP). My role involves managing multiple grants for Utah's Farm to Fork initiatives, acting as a liaison with various agricultural entities, and overseeing the National School Lunch Program’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, including development, monitoring, and technical assistance. If I'm not working in farm to school, I'm watching the latest horror movie, playing outside, or petting the neighborhood cats.
Hi there! I'm the Farm to School Marketing Specialist at the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. With a background in youth education and experience in different roles within Utah's food sector, I'm passionate about connecting kids with local food through the Farm to School movement. I focus on creating events to promote our programs and spreading the word through social media and other channels. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors with my dogs or hanging out with my chickens for some fun and relaxation!

We want to hear from you! While it takes a statewide network to make this work happen, we’re the two people on the ground helping lead the charge for Farm to School efforts in Utah. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, ideas, or suggestions on how we can strengthen these initiatives!
